ACDelco Specialty Premium Fuel Injection Hoses (MPI) are low-permeation, premium hoses for use on all fuel systems, including multi-port fuel injection (MPI). They are approved for use with gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel including soybean methyl ester (SME), rapeseed methyl ester (RME), palm methyl ester (PME) per ASTM D6751, E-85, methanol, ethanol, ethanol extended gasoline, and gasohol fuels. They are equipped with a patented five layer technology that keeps fuel out of the environment while delivering peak fuel efficiency. - – Examine hoses every 12 months. Look for leaks, cracks, or rot. Replace when showing signs of wear.
- – Have cooling system inspected immediately if instrument panel-mounted temperature gauge indicates engine overheating.
- – Periodically remove bugs, leaves, and other debris from the front of the radiator. They can block airflow and substantially reduce cooling efficiency.
