Description:
An essential component in the diesel electronic control system, this sensor provides the vehicle powertrain control module (PCM) with the pressure in the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system. The PCM uses this to control EGR delivery in conjunction with the EGR valve. Failure of this component can result in a check engine light, poor drivability and excessive exhaust emissions.
