Use old nut to seat the driveshaft, tighten to 258 Ft-Lb/350 Nm. Remove old nut, discard, and replace with new nut while vehicle is in the air and brake applied, tighten new nut to 258 Ft-Lb/350Nm. New nut must be torqued within 5 minutes of starting the threads. For reference only, consult OEM service information for complete torque specifications.
