Description:
Diesel Glow Plug Controllers manage the operation of the glow plugs and controls the large current flow used to operate them. Glow plugs are used to pre-heat the combustion chamber when a cold Diesel engine is started. Symptoms of a malfunctioning or inoperative Diesel Glow Plug Controller include a no-start condition, hard starting or long crank time, cylinder misfire and excessive exhaust particulate during warm-up. Not correcting a failed Diesel Glow Plug Controller places additional stress on charging and starting systems, contaminates motor oil with raw fuel and increases harmful emissions.
