GM Genuine Parts Remanufactured Fuel Injection Throttle Control Actuator Modules are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. They are electrically operated motor assemblies that control the throttle plates. They receive an electrical signal from the engine control module and open throttle plates based on input from the accelerator pedal module. Remanufacturing the fuel injection throttle control actuator module is an industry standard practice that involves disassembly of existing units, and replacing components that are most prone to wear with new components. Damaged and obsolete parts are replaced and completed units are tested to help ensure they perform to GM specifications.
