Thread locker is an anaerobic thread sealing and thread locking compound for pipe fittings. It is designed to allow disassembly with standard hand tools and performs on aluminum, steel, brass, and plated metal. It exhibits good temperature and solvent resistance, and will seal and lock pipe thread fittings and components. The cure speed is dependent on temperature and substrate. They are a high-strength, anaerobic sealant that is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined between close fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It is the ideal high quality chemical for most vehicles and great for locking headlight screws and soundproofing.
