FAA_A1:
Hoses should be replaced if they appear brittle or if there are any kinks or leaks.
FAA_A2:
The difference is the orientation of the teeth on the pitman shaft and power piston. Variable teeth will have a faster ratio than non-variable teeth.
FAA_A3:
In a standard rotation gear box, the input and pitman shaft rotate in the same direction. The shafts turn in opposite directions on a reverse rotation gear box.
FAA_A4:
Not recommended. The preload is adjusted at the time of assembly. If excessive play is present, its due to wear of internal components. If adjustment is attempted, it could lead to binding.
